The Bixby Memorial Free Library in Vergennes is one of many local libraries supported by donors to the Gay & Lesbian Fund of Vermont. Since 1912, Bixby Memorial Library has promoted reading a learning as a lifelong activity for residents of Addison, Ferrisburgh, Panton, Vergennes and Waltham. Like all of the state’s local libraries, it provides Vermonters with unfettered access to information, literature, media and art so that they may lead richer and more fulfiling lives.
